Dr. Gürdal Ertek

Associate Professor of Management, formerly with RIT Dubai when the paper was published. He received his B.Sc. from Boğaziçi University and Ph.D. from Georgia Institute of Technology. His research spans data mining, information visualisation and operations management. He has reviewed more than 50 industry R&D projects submitted to TÜBİTAK.

Dr. Gül Tokdemir

Faculty member whose research interests include information systems, health informatics and software engineering. She studied aerospace engineering at Middle East Technical University and Georgia Institute of Technology and completed her Ph.D. at METU’s Informatics Institute. Her C programming book received the Turkish Science Academy Textbook Award in 2011.

Mete Sevinç

Data scientist, formerly with Eindhoven University of Technology when the paper was published. He studied Manufacturing Systems Engineering and Industrial Engineering at Sabancı University. His interests include risk assessment, Bayesian network modelling, supply chain management, statistics, data mining and information visualisation.

Murat Mustafa Tunç

Ph.D. researcher in Management Science with a concentration in Information Systems. He studied Manufacturing Systems Engineering and Industrial Engineering at Sabancı University and was a visiting researcher at Eindhoven University of Technology and SIMTECH. His interests span data mining, information technologies and social networks.
