Dr. Gürdal Ertek is an Associate Professor of Management at Abu Dhabi University (ADU). He received his B.Sc. from Industrial Engineering Department of Boğaziçi University, Istanbul, Turkey, in 1994, and his Ph.D. from School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA, in 2001. His research areas include data mining and information visualization, as well as operations management. Dr. Ertek has been awarded with multiple scholarships and awards. He has served as a reviewer for 50+ industry R&D projects submitted to TÜBİTAK (Turkish National Science Foundation).
